Partner links — my-banks.info

Partner links — how we earn and why it does not affect the order. my-banks.info is an information service that is free for visitors. We do not carry out exchanges and take no fee from your funds. We plan to earn from exchangers' affiliate programs: if you go to an exchanger's website through a partner link and exchange funds, the exchanger may pay us a reward. The order of offers does not depend on it.

What this means for you

Partner links are marked. Next to such a link there is the label «Advertising / partner link», and the link itself has the attribute rel="sponsored nofollow". Advertising must be separated and identified — Article 9 of the Law of Ukraine «On Advertising» (identification of advertising).
The ranking does not depend on payouts. The order of offers is calculated before links are added to them, and the formula does not know who is a partner. We check this with automated tests: turning on partner links does not change the order of results. The order of results is not for sale.
Being listed is free. A partnership is not a condition for listing; every exchanger has a «Go» button, whether it is a partner or not.

What a /go link is

«Go» buttons lead to an address like my-banks.info/go/exch-name, which then leads to the exchanger's website. This way we count how many people went to each exchanger and can substitute a partner link if there is an agreement with the exchanger. Only our server decides where the link leads: parameters in the address cannot change the target.

We add the tags utm_source, utm_medium and utm_campaign to the exchanger's website address so that the exchanger can see that the visitor came from my-banks.info and from which section. Search robots and browser prefetching are not counted and go to the exchanger's website directly.

The BestChange affiliate program

On direction pages, in the separate group «Offers according to BestChange», we show the rates of exchangers that do not yet send us their own feed — from the BestChange partner API. The buttons of this group, and the button «To the exchanger's page on BestChange» on the cards of exchangers without a known website, lead through our /go to a BestChange page with our partner parameter ?p=. If you exchange funds through BestChange, we may receive a reward under their referral program. The group is marked «Advertising / partner link» in its header, the button of each of its rows — with the badge BCL («BCL» — BestChange partner link), the links on exchanger cards — with the full label; every such link has rel="sponsored nofollow".

BestChange data does not affect the ranking or the order of results: the group is not mixed with our table, inside it the order is by the amount you get only, and the BestChange rating and reviews are shown for reference. We count these clicks like all others: a daily counter, without IP addresses or visitor identifiers.

What we store

Only a daily counter of clicks: the date, exchanger, direction, site section, where the link came from (my-banks.info or the partner portal worldbank.org.ua) and where it led (the website or a partner link).
We do not store your IP address, cookies, a browser identifier or any other data about you. To protect against abuse we use a hash of the address that lives in the server's memory for one minute. More details are in the privacy policy.

Right now

There are no exchanger partner links on the site yet: all /go clicks lead to the exchangers' websites directly. When they appear, each will be marked as described above.

Separately, the BestChange affiliate program applies to the BestChange links described above.
